- We offer on-line courses as a supplemental education experience to the traditional NC Public Schools. Our courses range from core courses, AP & Honors, CTE courses, elite foreign languages, ie, Mandarin Chinese, Latin, German, in addition to arts and electives. Middle School students can take Algebra, foreign languages & science courses to gain high school credit. We also administer a "Learn and Earn" program whereas high school students can take courses that account for both high school and college credit.
- Tell us a bit about yourself.
- I am a Virtual Learning Consultant for one of the four state regional assignments, providing communications, training and updates to school Distance Learning Advisors in 28 counties and all charter schools within my assigned region. I also manage our school's website and informational documentation. I have been a state employee with the Department of Public Instruction since 1987. I joined NCVPS in January, 2008. I love life, and especially enjoy seeing a child happy and confident!
